Pirandello history

Brothers Emanuele and Maruo Lamanuzzi from Italy, learned to cook traditional Italian food from their mother and father back home in Italy during their childhood. Since then they have travelled the world and worked in restaurants in France, Belgium, Holland and most recently England from 1996.

The Pirandello was initially established on 21st August 1996 by Maruo in Falmouth, Cornwall where he cooked food and ran the restaurant successfully for three years until moving to Cheltenham with his brother Emanuele. The Pirandello however did not stay in Falmouth, instead it was moved to the heart of the fashionable Montpellier square in Cheltenham where it remains today thriving on the success of serving fantastic traditional Italian food to Cheltenham's folk.

Being situated in close proximity to the theatre, Pirandello is often visited by theatre goers for a special pre-theatre pasta meal before the show begins.

Pirandello spoils the customer with scores of different menu choices including fish, pasta, meat and several special offers, so why not come and try the Italian experience for yourself!
